  1. Private information (including customer information obtained through web site forms or e-mails) possessed by the Miura Group (consisting of MIURA CO., LTD., MIURA PROTEC CO., LTD., MIURA INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD., hereinafter referred to as "Miura"), will be handled according to the following privacy policy.
  2. Miura will work to ensure that its acquisition, possession, use, and/or disclosure of customer information does not infringe on the rights or interests of the customer.
  3. In most cases, the customer will be able to visit Miura's home page without revealing private information; for example, no private information will be collected if the customer merely wants to browse Miura's web site.
  4. When Miura does collect private information, it will take sensible technical measures to prevent divulgence of, loss of, damage to and unauthorized access to private information.
  5. The information that Miura acquires from customers will be used for
    1) fulfilling responsibilities in contracts with said customers,
    2) establishing a business relationship with said customers,
    3) developing better products and services,
    4) providing customers with information on new products, exhibitions, etc., that may be of benefit to them, and
    5) for other appropriate purposes.
  6. Unless there is a justifiable for doing otherwise, Miura will not entrust private data managers with customer information, allow the information to be used for unintended purposes, or provide the information to third parties.
  7. Should customers desire disclosure, revision, deletion, etc., of the information they have provided to Miura, Miura will respond within a sensible framework and time frame. Customers should make such requests to their nearest Miura office.
  8. Miura stores customer data in strict accordance with Japanese laws and regulations, and is constantly reviewing and improving its privacy policy.
